What is one thing that you do to help students feel comfortable in the MSP group?
I always work to develop my relationships with my students and foster their sense of community with each other. Knowing how my students are feeling on a regular basis is very important to me (sometimes more important than jumping right into material!), so I take time to check in with students to see how they're doing.
What is the best advice you have gotten on navigating ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½?
Watch for when you are starting to compare yourself to others in order to keep a healthy mindset, and give yourself the benefit of the doubt. Always work to prioritize your physical and mental health, because you have to feel safe and cared for before you can seek out resources to help you achieve your academic goals.
