Federal Immigration Activity in Chicago and Evanston

Dear members of the ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ community,

Earlier today, the Department of Homeland Security announced an increased federal immigration presence in the Chicago area.

The and the have both shared updates and guidance in recent days.

Additionally, ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½’s Responding to Federal Policies website includes a travel and immigration section that links to University guidance and official federal communications. University guidance also was provided in a message to the community on April 1.

Please take a moment to review these communications and resources. The University will continue to monitor evolving local and federal activities and provide updates to the community as necessary.
